  • Taos has two different solutions to generate a photopic Silicon response. The first is utilized in our line of Light&#45to&#45Digital ambient light sensors, including the TSL2581. This sensor utilizes the fact that different wavelengths of light contain different amounts of energy.

    A digitizer, like most standalone oscilloscopes, offers both a 50 ohm and a high impedance (1 Mohm) termination. The challenge with a two-channel digitizer was that only two signals on the device under test are high impedance or 50 ohm terminated at a time, leaving the other signals on the board un-terminated.

    Combining software and hardware fault detection techniques can offer a powerful solution that brings together hardware and software verification. For example, a hardware timer could make an interrupt every second that causes a checker routine to run and observe the current state of the main program and the hardware inputs and outputs. This would test if both hardware and software continue to function correctly.
